Thanks for clarifying this macro lens issue. Obviously the formula was
over-simplified and gave wrong figures. If the magnification of 100mm macro lens
is 1:1 then how big it is on my 28-90 USM lens? The same brochure says that the
closest focusing distance for that lens is 38 cm. Is there a way to approximate
(OK, I can _test_ it but...) the magnification?
