EOS tight fit of omnibounce ex over 420EX

Hello,

I just bought a 420EX and a Stofen Omnibounce EX. The Omnibounce
is REALLY tight over the flash head. It almost doesn't fit, and I
cannot push the diffuser much more than 1/4" on to the flash
head.

Does anyone else who uses this combination have the same problem?
