Yet another misplaced reply from Friday:
It is only not true black and white if it's printed on color paper.  And
some labs can set their equipment to print TCN on color paper correctly.
B&W Plus, or whatever, is designed to print on color paper without a
problem.  Ilford XP-2+, on the other hand prints an interesting shade of
lavender on color paper, it is designed to be printed only on B&W paper.
Of course, the Kodak films respond well to B&W paper, too, at least TCN
and Portra B&W do.
