Hi Gerard,

Aha! So using a film wedge is not enough to stop your flash
sliding out of the socket.

Will your hole be for the locking pin for the newer Canon EZ or
Canon EX flash units?

Or for a 1/4"-20 screw bolt for the bottom of the flash foot and
the Off-Camera Shoe Cord 2?  This one would be more versatile!
