I have been using the ( non - recommended!) combination of the 1.4 X TC +
100 mm f2.8 USM macro lens, with 13mm Jessops extension tube in between.
Results are very good.
However, when I try the same setup with the 2X TC, my EOS 3 gives a "0.0"
display - i.e. as if no lens is attached. This could be the fault of either
the converter or the non - Canon tube. My other Jessops extension tubes give
the same negative result. The 2X TC works OK used normally ( e.g. with 300
mm f4).
Has anyone else tried this this combination but with a Canon 12mm tube ?
Does it work ?
