Hello Folks,

My set up is a rebel 2k, along w/ a 28-135 & 50/1.8 + a 550EX + a
cheap tripod that I have to live w/ for the time being. I am going to
be on a roof top close to where the fireworks are supposed to be here
locally.

I would like to get some tips on shooting the night sky/fireworks. In
addition considering my friends will be there along w/ me, I am
planning to shoot quite a few pictures of them too. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated. I have a couple of rolls of 800 Speed
film w/ me.

Is it better to shoot w/ the lens set to Manual rather than Autofocus
in such a setting?

TIA,

Govardhan
