Another thing comes to mind - make sure the place where you develop the film
will be willing to print them right (I did develop the film with fireworks
once in Kodak premium processing and results came just awful - sky was
mid-gray and fireworks as colorless blobs - I got much better prints from
the same film done in a local lab).
I was shooting with EF28-105 on ElanIIE in Manual mode, ISO200 film, tripod
mounted. Remote switch is highly recommended. I measured approx exposure for
2 sec at the brightest part of a burst in Tv mode and then set it in manual
mode. If you go longer fireworks tend to smear a lot especially if it is
windy; if you go shorter - it may not be enough, although try yourself - it
depends on what you're looking for. Unfortunately I don't have the pictures
scanned.
