Hi Ken,
By coincidence, the only time this happened to me was while panning with the
300/2.8 IS fitted. I think it was Jonathan Kwok who had experienced the most
problems but I cannot recall which lenses he had in use at the time. I've
had no problem with the EOS 3 but it is a backup body only with probably
only a couple of hundred rolls through it.
