Steve- I had a 630 for quite a while, and loved it. The worst equipment decision I've ever made was to sell it. I traded it in on the A2. I wish I still had it... as a back up. In some ways, it's closer to a pro body than the A2 is. Lighted viewfinder, instant partial metering with your thumb, built like a tank, etc... But... you're willing to go back to that old (12 yrs old) technology for a brighter viewfinder?? If that's a big issue for you, so be it. To each his own. But I'd never do it. From the list you gave, I'd go with the 1N, then the 1, then the RT, then the 630. Not that 12 years is a long time - after all the A2 is almost 10 years old.
