I haven't done more than look at them. I doubt I'd find them inadequate; it's
more that I'm happy enough with the 6xx bodies that a new body would have to be
pretty close to ideal for me to be motivated to upgrade. For example - my
current bodies + technical backs not only record exposure data, they let me
review it on-camera, which I find quite useful. The EOS-1V does the former but
not the latter. Also, one "modern feature" I'd like is ECF; if the 1V had that
it might have pushed me over the edge to buying one.
At this rate, I suppose it's possible that the next body I buy may be digital,
since I'd guess the digital/analog crossover point for my purposes is about 5
years out (and surely not more than 10).
