Steve,

In my opinion, you should rent a Mamiya RZ-67 or other larger format
camera.  I have the D30 and the 1v.  If you shoot Fuji Provia 100F in a
35mm film camera and scan it at 4,000 ppi and use proper techniques, you
may end up with marginal results.  But to end up with a 64 mb file sized
to 18x24 will require at least medium format for good publishable
results.

Everyone may not agree to what is acceptable and what is publishable.
