I once received a mail (and also read it some where on
the net) that to prevent a virus from making use of
your address book and replicating itself you should
add a fake address to your address book with First
Name as !0000 (this will make it the first address in
your address book) and with no e-mail address i.e.,
the rest of the information should be blank. So that
if such a virus tries to use your address book it fail
to deliver itself. I have this setup in my Outlook
Express address book but have never encountered such a
virus..... at least so far.
