Using a Canon TC with the EF 50 f1.0L is certainly not possible as the rear element of the f1.0 is flush against the lens mount. (In "Lens Work II" Canon state that the TCs only work with L lenses of 135mm and over, plus the EF 70-200 f2.8 L zoom.) Using the Tamron TC would probably be possible but with, I guess, severe vignetting. What's wrong with using an 85 f1.8 or 100 f2?
