Henry, FYI & FWIW, EOS Magazine's listing of tripod mounts is almost exactly as your database.
I am guessing, but I suspect that ring B (W) is not listed as an ACCESSORY, as it appears to be standard on all the lenses that it fits. Likewise, the YG2-0500-000 is a part number, not an accessory. So, apologies for suggesting that your database was incorrect.
