Interestingly, the RRS catalogue (Late 2000 issue) quotes different mounting plates: B97L for the 100 f2.8 Macro B82 for the 70-200 f4L and 300 f4L (non IS) B84 for the 70-200 f2.8L (non IS) and 300 f4L IS, or B86 if the lens collar is marked 'RING B' (latest style).
