Hi Dave: Thank you for your reply. I think I didn't make myself very clear. :P The pictures with IS actually turn out to be quite good. But the image in the viewfinder would jitter (i.e. move up and down a bit) whenever I am shooting in vertical position with IS set to "|" (true for both EOS 3 and 5). I don't see any jitter if I turn IS to "O" position under the same situation or if I'm shooting in the horizontal position. Is this normal?
