Hi Howard,

   Freezing film is a good thing. Just give it a half hour or so to hit 
room temp before loading it in your camera. I also put mine in a zip lock 
bag and keep it zipped up until it hit room temp to reduce condensation 
problems.
   When you refrigerate a film it will help slow down the deterioration 
process, when you freeze a film you almost stop the process. I have heard 
of people holding on to film in the freezer for 20+ years and still having 
it perform well when they finally took it out.
