I didn't get peter's original email, so i can only see this part:

Peter, I understand where you are coming from, however :

I do not care about what photodo says if I have my own test. I looked at
4000dpi scans from a test i conducted. all the three lenses i mentioned were
very very similar, i had to nit pick to find much difference. I was going to
procude a write up but i do not have time for it, and since they are at very
similar levels, i do not see any need to. at certain extremes, one was
better then the other, but none of them was clearly better then the others.
they were very very close to each other.

I can't see any difference at 4000dpi scans, so maybe theoritically one is a
tad bit sharper at certain points. but that should not be a consideration if
you can not experience it in real life.
