I think my next purchase will be a cheap fisheye or pseudo fisheye lens,
mainly for use on crowd shots on opening nights and fooling around. A true
Canon fisheye lens is far too dear for my intended purposes, but a few
alternatives I have run across are as follows:

Porter's Camera Store has a 0.25x fake fisheye lens attachment with
different mounts, which is currently what I am leaning towards:

cs&Product_Code=09-0826

Adorama markets a 0.42x fake fisheye lens as reviewed in PopPhoto (oooh, it
MUST be good <snicker>) for dirt cheap:

E58

and of course, there is the Zenitar that folks on this list have raved
about, available again on eBay, but (especially with shipping and wire fees)
a bit more than I am willing to pay right now:

Has anyone used either of the fake fisheye attachments? Or maybe even
something else? Any comments?

Thanks!

Pattie
