This is one I should know and has maybe been discussed, but I can't find anything definitive on it.
If you're using two 550EX flashes, one as master on camera and one as slave on a light stand with umbrella, is it possible to use a setting that would allow the slave with umbrella to be the primary light source and the on-camera 550EX fill flash? My understanding is that if you use the on-camera 550EX's exposure compensation (as the master flash), the slave will also inherit that compensation. Is there any way to dial down the flash on camera and keep full flash on the off-camera slave? Help appreciated, since I'm really blanking on this one.
