I use an EOS 3 with PBE2 Booster. With that setup, I never get at accurate reading when power is decreasing. It usually goes from reading a full charge to no charge left in the course of a few shots. I've heard that with attachable power boosters (as in my case with the EOS 3 and PBE2 combination), this can be a problem.
With my EOS 1NRS, I don't have that problem at all. Of course, its power booster is integrated as part of the camera (not a separately attached accessory).
