I think you are trying to make two photos in one: Ambient with Bulb mode and
subject with flash.
So you have to light them separately.
1) Measure for the ambient and bulb time
2) Know your flash, when out of camera it set itself for full power, 50mm and
(I think) f x
(I can't remember x, but I think its in the manual). So open the lens at f x.
Another solution is trying severall shots with several burts of flash.
