I am considering buying this lens used for various use. Amongst other things I plan to use my 1,4x and 2x converters. But this lens lacks a tripod mount collar. As far as I have found out, Canon only produces a tripod collar that fits the Mk II version. Any advices here?
I would also welcome your opinions and experinces considering the use of converters on this lens, especially regarding detorioration of image quality.
