Setting the ISO does this and so does the exposure compensation.
A 3rd setting may only confuse things. If you have a Wallace Expo DIsc
you can validate the accuracy of your camera.  
I did and my EOS3 is dead on, but of course this comes after a visit to
Canon Factory Service since I have an earlier body that was 
underexposing.
