I'm glad for you. Now you know why they say not to change film in
bright light. And, when you do open the back, no matter what, always
check quickly for film, and close up again quickly if you do see it.
The film still wound on the right side is protected to a certain
amount of light.

So your lesson was learned without total disaster. No doubt the best
shot was on that group lost though :-)


Damn, the EF 100-400 IS is selling pretty high over here. At least
that means resale is also high. I just saw a mint used one go for
150,000 yen. That's about B&H's price for a new one. It looks like I
can order a grey market one from them and even with shipping save
money over buying one here new. And unless it's mint, I don't want a
used one.
