Hi Ken,

Yes, it is like /deja vu/, life repeating itself all over again ;-)

There is a lining of bumpy plastic on my ES-65. When I touch it, it is hard
plastic, quite unlike the softer flocking lining my EW-65 or EW-78BII.

EOS 35mm SLR cameras that have a popup flash have a forward protrusion on
the pentaprism hump. It usually the name "Canon" imprinted upon it. Cameras
like the EOS 600/630 do not have a popup flash and lack this protrusion so
that the pentaprism housing is like a little pyramid that slopes away from
the lens.

I can imagine that the EW 65 fits fine on an EOS 600/630. I know that it
bumps against the flash housing (under the "chin" of "Canon") on my two
EOS cameras.

Cheers
Julian Loke
