Hi Everyone According to the Elan 7e and 420EX manuals this combination of equipment is supposed to produce a modeling flash when the depth-of-field preview button is pressed. I can't seem to get it to work. Does anyone know if Canon may have changed their minds about this feature after the manuals were printed? My camera is 6 months old and the flash is 1 year old, but the manuals have a copyright date of 2000.
