I don't have a 420, but when it's in slave mode does it operate normally? Can one leave it in slave mode? What is modelling flash? _ Is it a continuous light like the red-eye reduction that allows you to see your subject in very low light? I imagine it drains the batteries pretty quick this way, but would certainly be handy when needed. Waiting on my 550EX which should be delivered any moment now... Has anyone used the Better Beamer for long tele flash? Any alternatives I should know about?
