Be careful when comparing apples to oranges.  The D60
and 1D images were shot with a 28-70, the others with
a 50 1.4.  While both are good lenses, there is no way
to know how much the lens difference affected the
results.  And the different lenses makes me wonder if
the images were taken at different times.  If so,
that's another variable to wonder about:  different
apertures, more or less wind, and who knows what else.
