Hi Jim,

What are you talking about? Norton's AV is transparent in operation, it is
automatically loaded at boot up time and checks ALL files opened and run AND
all of your incoming files including all email (if set for maximum kill like
I have mine set to). There is NO management involved if configured
correctly, even updates are automatic. None of the several hundred of
desktop and server systems I have installed and regularly manage with
(correctly updated), Win98 Second Edition and newer WinDoze O/S's (Win2K,
and XP Home, Pro and Server versions), have ever halted or stopped because
of Norton's AV (actually they almost never halt or lock up if the client
didn't cheap out on the hardware). If you have an old Win95 or Win98 OEM or
first edition lock ups did occur but they were the product of unreliable O/S
not Norton's AV. The fact that you don't want to make the effort to install
off the shelf, inexpensive software to resolve your issues sounds like a
personal problem to me. Quit complaining about a virus problem that you can
fix for $20 and a filtering problem that you can fix for FREE. :)

I routinely get 150-200 emails per day. I spend zero time managing the
filters or AV programs, I don't have time to waste on it when I could be
goofing off here and there and trying to help people like yourself. 8^)

Cheers/Chip
