I have 2 550EXs and an STE2. I can use one 550EX on camera and set another 550EX as a wireless slave (so I do not need the STE2). If I use the STE2 I can use both 550EXs wirelessly. How does the EF500 Super operate differently from the 550EX that it would not require another a flash or the STE2 to trigger it?
