Also, IWLTA (I would like to add) that the hard disks
(HDD) for portables are heremetically sealed (outer
casing/support is mix of metal/glass and
rubber/silicone/other seals) and pressure difference
will exist between the inside and outside respectively
(ie the HDD will maintain pressure inside more or less
upto a certain limit). Unless the pressure difference
is overwhelming, it should not pose problems for the
HDD operation. However, a Microdrive, OTOH could have
flimsy/delicate sealing and hence may not be as tough
as a bigger and more robust HDD (as that of a laptop.)
