More the merrier as long as it's dependable. I'll take 7 point ECF on the 7 existing points for starters. My old 55 also works a charm for ECF. I was lost when I had to do without it on the 10d. I am using the centre focus point mostly and sometimes change it but with a few button and wheel movements it's not the same as just looking. I really liked it though for panning flying birds. -- Need a brighter headlight the safe way?
