The Bronica was a good camera - had some faults like most others, but
was
still was an excellent camera. 'Glad you haven't had any problems with
Sigma.
I personally know some who have, was at a wedding where a pro. had a
brand
new out of the box lens fall apart - literally, and I loaded him my
Canon
lens. So, this with their false advertising about their dSLRs hasn't
made
them a big hit with me nor many others. Like I said, if they work well
for
you, then that's great. I'll continue to recommend buying Canon, or
Nikon,
whatever someone has.

Fred,

I know one professional right near me in San Jose that had the focusing
ring
fall of a brand new 24-70mm F2.8L lens and can provide his name. He
showed
it to me and Canon acknowledged there were some defects with some early
24-70mm F2.8L lenses so no one it perfect.
Another working pro has his hassy jam (not unsual) at a wedding while
he was taking photos of the bride walking done the aisle. In anger he
threw
the Hassy on the floor and used his backup (true story, he never used
Hassy
again.). Likewise, I have heard of problems with Sigma, Tokina, and
others.
It is not just limited to Sigma, but since they are the largest of the
independent
lens makers, there are probably more lenses out on the market and even
if
they had the same percentage of failures as Tokina and Tamron the number
would be larger. Try one of the Sigma EX lenses and it may change your
mind about the quality of Sigma. They are EXcellent.
The Sigma dSLRs suffer more from a problem in the way images are
accessed then they do from lack of quality control. While they are not
as
reliable as most Canon or Nikon bodies, they are certainly not as bad as
some others.
