Something else to ponder before you plunk down the big bucks for the Canon auto charger is how little it would cost (~$20) to just buy a very cheap DC/AC inverter for your car and use your existing Canon AC charger. Unless you have one of the D30/D60 ones, it will only hold one battery, but then even the double ones only charge one at a time anyways.
Thanks Tom, good info. However, I don't have a DSLR, I have a G2, which charges the battery while it's in the camera. Would such an inverter work for this?
