Canon hasn't made an announcement yet.....due the 20th of this month. THEN 
we'll know what "it is." :)

I think it is a "replacement".....maybe for both the 300D and 10D. It would be 
like Canon to come out with a cheaper "300D" by Fotokina.

Street price of $1300 (US) isn't that bad considering the MP......that's WITH 
a lens.
