If you should have bought Canon from B&H and paid for worldwide warranty, you can let it repair in Europe without any problems. I've a friend who did it.

Thanks. Will do, just that in the past I've had conflicting answers from Canon UK, Canon US and B&H... Also B&H offer their worldwide extended warranty product, but this requires shipping the item back to the US for any repairs....

I emailed the list in case someone had "been there, done that" and experienced whether the cost saving is real or whether it comes back to bite you later!

Thanks

Can anyone shed some light on this?? Are there any other pitfalls in shipping this kit from the US?

Why not just e-mail B&H and have it put in writing? They would know the
limitation(s) as they do sell all kinds of things world wide.
