I absolutely love mine. Jim is right, it's a bit bigger than the 28-135mm, and heavier, too, but it it my favorite lens for weddings. I head about how much Canon improved the 24-70L, and then wonder how it's possible :-D
I have thought about trading "up" to the newer model given the fact that we seem destined to have crop factors for the next few years, but then I think "what if the one I get isn't as good as what I've got?
