Hi Harman, None taken. The 28-70L has been replaced (new) by the 24-70L. I was merely interjecting that the 24-70L is a superb lens (IMO) and a great all rounder, and I use it regularly (hey didn't I write this already??) - I appreciate that the original post was about the 28-70L, and I suppose if I had (instead) interjected with ' The 14L 2.8 is a superb lens........etc' then that might have seemed a bit odd as the focal lengths are a bit further apart, let alone one is a zoom and the other a prime, although I suppose the max ap of 2.8 is the same (allegedly)..... er, where was I ? Oh yes, 24-70L. It's a lovely lens, I hope you'll both be very happy together.
