I have G1 (the first G! yeah!) but find it a bit too bulky when I go out
with kids. So, I bought a Pentax Optio 33L. It's pretty decent small
camera and fits in a pocket. Because of the size and the rangefinder
feature, I can handhold the camera at slower shutter. The only downsides
are that the autofocus is slow and shutter lag is quite significant. It
depends what you do but I find it limiting at times. (Even the old G1 has
smaller lag time). I have used a friend's small Nikon 4100 for a few
minutes. The lag time is abit shorter but is still significant. (Anyone
has better experience here?) Anyway, I think I'm spoiled by 20D. :)

Everyone
There are times when the 1D gets heavy and I'm looking for a
small point and
shoot. Does anyone have info or experience with the Canon G5 and/or G6?
The older model can be had for a good savings.
