I bought a Sigma 600mm f8 mirror lens to use on my 10D. Because it has a FD-mount, it's necessary to use an FD-EOS-adapter or to replace the FD-mount by a EOS-mount.
When I asked Sigma Netherlands about the possibility of replacement of the FD-mount on the lens with an EOS-version , they told me that this mirror lense couldn't be used on any digital EOS camera. Explanation: the camera needs (even in manual focus mode) information about the mounted lens. I wasn't convinced! Question: is there any experience of 10D-users with use of this lens (with an EOS-mount or an FD-mount plus FD to EOS-adapter) ?? TIA for your help!!!
