Subject: EOS 20D reaching end of its time?

I noticed that the prices have been
coming down recently for the 20D
(now $1330 at B&H and others), all
the while Canon has a $100 rebate
going (until July I think).

This makes the 20D very attractive,
and I am thinking of finally getting
one. However when I upgraded in the
past (D30 -> D60 and D60 -> 10D),
Canon always brought out a new model
within a 3 months or so.  I don't
mind skipping the 20D if a "20D mkII"
is on the horizon.

So, what are your opinions, when
will we read an announcement for a
successor for the 20D?

I am guessing August/September.

Lars

I'm guessing February, 18 months is the usually turn around, the camera just hit the market in Sept. Only a year...
