Now there's an excellent idea that hadn't occurred to me. Initially invest in a couple of EF zooms for day-to-day shooting, but use an adapter to accommodate my more exotic Nikon lenses on the 5D body. A Sekonic handheld meter is a permanent part of my photo kit anyway. And, with my shooting habits, the optional screen optimized for manual focusing would be a 5D accessory I'd buy with the camera regardless.
