Have you tried your Contax wide-angles on the Canon digital body? If so,=
do=20
they perform better than the EOS wides?

I have five Contax G lenses but none from the Contax SLR family so I
cannot help you. However I think I've heard someone tried the Distagon
21 successfully but I cannot confirm you. I've used adapters for Leica
and Nikkor (yes!) but finally I remain using Canon EF as I find out they
are just right for me. Perhaps although I own and use a 1Ds and a 1Ds
MkII I'm not a demanding man
