Boy I wish I had your problems. All I have is a DCS560
and a D30. From what I've seen with mine I'd say
unless you need the pro ruggedness go with the 5D.
With my cameras I immedialtely noticed that the
buidget D30 has way superior imaging, particularly
with long exposures and high ASAs because the image
processing technology is a couple of generations
ahead. I can only guess the 5D must be better than the
1Ds by virtue of it's newness. This is really going
the way of the PC business. Newer is better and old is
crap!
Of course I could be wrong!
