I currently have the 24-70/2.8L and was looking at the 24-105/F4L with IS as a replacement. I like the lighter weight and more compact size, plus the IS. I mostly shoot landscapes, city and some nature. I've read some reviews and the ones I've seen said they would trade their 24-70 up for the 24-105. I like having the extra focal length. I also have the 5D, 16-35/F2.8L and the 70-200/F2.8L IS.
