Hi Leeuwtje,

I have one of these, and it's fine stopped down.
However, before spending any more money, I'd advise trying it at full
aperture, if that's what you intend to do with it.
My sample confirms the published test comparison (a few years ago) between
several wide-aperture 50mm lenses, and the Pentax, alone of those tested,
simply didn't get onto the MTF graph at f1.4.  I was very surprised as until
I came across this review, I had assumed that Pentax, of all people, knew
how to acceptable results at full aperture from a 50mm f1.4!

I also have an EF 50 f1.4 which is a super lens.  It's a bit short on depth
of field at f1.4 which can lead to worries if the AF isn't quite right.
