I've been tossing up between

A. Canon 24-70/2.8L - Around $1800 AUD

B. Canon 24-105/4 LIS - Around $1800 AUD

C. Tokina 28-70 2.8 ATX Pro - Around $350 AUD

D. Tokina 28-80 2.8 ATX Pro - Around $500 AUD

I want it primarily for portraits and weddings. Ratings on Fred Miranda
(ie users rather than lense tests) rate all 4 very well. Some dramas
with the Tokina 28-70 with the aperture sticking so I'm pretty much
ruling it out.

Cost wise option D. Tokina 28-80 2.8 ATX Pro looks very appealing. But
being a complete snob and only trusting Canon quality, service and
backup I'm finding it difficult to put my finger on the buy it button.
Can anyone convince me otherwise ? I'm thinking that one of these will
be really handy inside churches etc... So lowish light will be a
concern. I'm teaming it with a 1DMKII so focusing and noise shouldn't
be too much of a problem.

Thanks,
Michael.
