I do the reverse - I always notice when the OM1's rewind lever/
spindle isn't turning when winding on, but failed to notice the
absence of film through that little window on the 50E. Duh! :-)

(I missed some shots in Vancouver which it may take me several
years to get back to, if ever, and they won't be the same [sigh]).

Touch silicon, I've never had a memory card issue yet with the
10D.
