Hi Ken, Although Gerard has already answered the question, you might want to read of more ways to make full use of your 420EX. For instance, did you know that you can use FEL to force the 420EX to emit full flash power? http://eosdoc.com/manuals?q=blindFEL How about using the camera as a flash meter? http://eosdoc.com/manuals?q=FELmeter And how to fine-tune flash exposure faster than using the FEC setting on your camera: http://eosdoc.com/manuals?q=fakeFEC Don't be too quick to get rid of your 420EX. There is one thing my 420EX can do which my 550EX and 580EX just cannot do. Automatic switching between 2nd curtain sync indoors, and FP sync outdoors. http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=0042Rs Cheers Julian Loke * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
